RIP Gerry McCarthy

Just learned today that Gerry McCarthy has passed away. Gerry was a fixture on the Munster and Irish chess scene for many years and although not in good health recently it’s fitting that his last tournament was in the Munster League for CCYMS before Christmas. Sympathies to his family and friends.
