The Limerick Open takes place in the West County Hotel, Ennis this weekend. The tournament is a 5 round Swiss and there is an Open and an U1400 section. Unfortunately, unlike previous years, the tournament won’t be FIDE rated this year but it should be an interesting event nonetheless. There is still time to get your entry in if you feel like playing. Online entry is available via the Irish Chess Union website.
